A Message from Ginny
I have experienced firsthand how devastating a Parkinson’s diagnosis can be, especially when it is delivered in terms of something like this “you have a progressive, debilitating disease…”
To overcome the hopelessness that message evokes, our program incorporates strategies that help individuals recruit the power of their mind to help them take ownership of their reality.
My brother’s diagnosis inspired me to get involved. He refers to his Parkinson’s as his “dark passenger”. I am sure you can relate. However, in spite of it all, through exercise, mindfulness and the support of his loving wife and family, he continues to live a very full, active, and grateful life.
My message to you is that you may have Parkinson’s, but you are NOT Parkinson’s, and you don’t have to be defined as such!
I look forward to being a part of your healing journey!

“I met Ginny when I walked into a new gym to sign up and become a member. It was the very same day she learned that her brother was diagnosed with Parkinson’s. When we started chatting neither of us knew that it was about to become one of those divine intervention moments, until I identified myself and my role at the Parkinson Alliance. I believe I was there to give Ginny hope and to arm her with information. Ginny jumped right into helping people with Parkinson’s. She is very interested in various therapies and utilizes many different exercise modalities to enhance the quality of life for PWPs, while staying current on the latest Parkinson’s research. I have referred many individuals to her classes and personal training and they all love her. Ginny’s understanding of Parkinson’s and her genuine caring makes such a difference and clients truly appreciate her.”
