“Be a Work In Progress”

Do you want to remain youthful at any age?  Then be a work in progress. For however long we are on this earth, if we maintain our curiosity in all aspects of our lives and we continue to improve ourselves, and to explore things that we are passionate about, that wish will be granted.

This concept applies to our professional life and our personal life.  That doesn’t mean that you strive for the impossible, but don’t let complacency become your state of being.  Whatever you are doing, try to do it better, smarter, and tweak and refine as you go.  If you are training, try a new exercise class or modality, or invest in a few sessions with a Personal Trainer.  It will bring passion back to your workouts and your body will respond favorably.

If you are in a customer service business, think about ways that can bring a little unexpected extra to your service.  Your customers will love you for it and you will find more purpose in your work.  Of course, this applies to your personal relationships as well.  Who doesn’t love a little surprise every now and then?!

I got into the fitness business a lot later than most as a second career, but I promised myself that I wouldn’t let myself get stale.  I want to continue to learn and grow to best serve my clients, to help them to discover new ways to move their bodies, and to improve their overall fitness and wellness.  Along the way, I have discovered some fun and effective strategies, and it continues to be a joyful journey.

Last year I took a deeper dive into Original Strength.  Their foundation is to take people back to their original developmental movement sequence and as they say, “Press RESET”.  Two years ago, I achieved a Coach Level Certification, but I pushed myself out of my comfort zone and on the last day of 2022, I took the test to achieve Certified Pro Level and I am so excited to see what’s next.  The universe has a way of surprising us with new opportunities when we are open to receiving.

Wishing you more passion and purpose in your life!  It’s your move…

Cheers,

Ginny
